Well its July, I can't believe it. Half this year is already gone and its only a few more months and it will be snowing again. Don't get me wrong, I love winter, there is so much to do in the winter. But it doesn't seem like we had a summer yet. I think its been raining here for the last two weeks on and off.. I have seen the sun a few times in the evening, but its been very short. I think people are getting a little depressed from all this wet weather. I have been noticing that more and more people are driving faster and crazier. I also noticed that more people are playing country music in their cars. It's the choice of music when you are in a down state of mind. Not all of country music i depressing, but come on, have you ever listened to the lyrics of some of the songs. Ya, pretty down... We have a stereo in the barn, and of course its on the country station. I will be out there cleaning out the barn, you know shoveling the horse poop and all that. And will find myself just getting lost in the music, and before I know it, I am sitting on a bucket with my head down, wondering what I am doing with my life. Ya, come on... all that from listening to country music. So I change the station when I am out there.. I felt bad for the horses, I think they need something a little bit more energetic and lively to help them thought the day. I was thinking of getting them the new Black Eyed Peas CD, and just playing it all the time, now that is a jamming CD. I totally love it. You can be as down as you possible can and you put in that Cd and Boom Boom Pow... you are having a good night... Take my word for it..
So anyways, there I go again promoting more Cd's.. but anyways, just a tip for you.
So I am off to see whats going on it my little town...
Peace out...

Update in the making....
So I have been a bit slack, OK, more than a bit.
It's just been really busy and crazy the last few months. I haven't really had time for any blogging at all. So I am going to try and get back into it. I am going to try and do it at least
a few times a week. Just to do it ...
So the latest news is that I fractured my foot, three bones. My first fracture. I am now sporting a walking cast, that is now very colorful, thanks to all the kids at youth. Speaking of Youth, its been crazy fun. Its become a joyful part of my week, we have a great group of youth folk and
they are a lot of energy. We are planning a big camping trip this summer for the youth, I am
hoping that its going to be a Survivor themed trip. I love Survivor. This season has been one
of the best yet. Every week it keeps getting better and better. Also a great season of Amazing Race and Heroes. I just started watching the first season of Supernatural, thanks to a friend who gave me the season to watch. I am really enjoying it..
So in 13 days I am going to see Mercy Me... I am really excited. I have been a big fan of theirs for many years now and can't wait to see them live. The concert is in Augusta, so its going to be a road trip.... which will be fun. I know they will put on a great show. I have their live DVD and I love it, its a great worship concert.
So my horse is going for surgery soon, he is having some issues, not major, but he will have to go
to have an operation. Which will cost me lots of dollars.. which is not great, but what can you do.
Also my little niece is going to have her tonsils out this week, so I pray that everything goes great for her and she has no problems. She is excited to get some time of school and eat jello...
So that's if for now...
peace out.

2009 is it real....
Well its 2009....
Pretty crazy. Last year, just seemed to fly bye.. It just seems like it was January of 2008 and I had all these plans and things I wanted to do and well now its 2009 and its like crap... I didn't get to do any of them.. well not all of them.
So I started early this year. I started getting in shape and changing my eating habits. I started the first of December, so that by January 1, I would be in a good routine and I would be able to stick with it as a New Years resolution. : ) So I am down 22 pounds and have 18 more to go. I am jogging now and walking twice a day, so its been a big help. I also changed my diet. I cut back a lot and I don't eat after 8pm.. nothing. Well I some time slip, but I make up for it the next day. I just need to find someone who wants to go hiking as soon as the snow goes. I plan on going for a good long hike every weekend. I love hiking and its a great way to get exercise and see new places.
So the Holidays are all over, thank goodness.. its such a busy time of the year. I find that every year its gets busier and busier. So next year I am planning on going away.. maybe go on a mission trip or something and do something fun and rewarding. I am just so shocked at the craziness of the holidays, its so intense. I was at wal-mart and I have never seen so many crazy people running around trying to find the perfect gift for the special someone.. ya, whatever. I don't understand why people just don't get Gift cards. They are so simple and you can go and get what you want and not worry about trying to fake being excited for something you would never wear or ever want. So that is what I did this year. It was easy and no stress.
That's the way the holidays should be easy and no stress...

CD NEWS ... and other stuff....
YAAAA.. It's snowing... About flipping time..
So I am thinking I need to get my ass skiing.. and soon.
So its that time of year, when its crazy .. eveything is so busy and everyone is rushing to get
all this stuff done for Christmas. Which is like just a week away. Crap... I am so not ready, and
well I don't really care. I am just not feeling it this year. I wish I could just go away for the whole holiday season, ya that would be sweet. Go somewhere and ski for a week. That would
be a great holiday. Happy Holidays..
Well I am still on this new quest, but its not going the way I expected. Which doesn't suprise me.
It's cool, becuase I am learning to just go with the flow.. which is nice sometimes. No pressure ..
Keeps the stress level at a minimum. I have been listening to the new Nickleback Cd, Dark Horse, its pretty sweet.. I love the song, Burn it to the Ground... but the whole CD is really good.
Another hot CD is the new one by Pink... Funhouse. She just keeps getting better. I love the whole CD, especially, Sober, Bad Influence , Funhouse and Boring... but honestly the whole CD is the bomb... Go out and get it.. NOW...
Another good one is Blackbird by Alter Bridge, I love the song Watch Over You.. but the CD is really good too... so check that out too..
Also... Check out Thriving Ivory... they are a really good bad.. and its a great CD..
So ya... just a little side note...
Here is how you can change your life in 20 minutes, step by step:
1. Clear all distractions. Turn off the phone, the tv, the computer. Lock your door, and go to a quiet place.
2. Sit down comfortably at a desk or table, with a blank piece of paper and a pen in front of you.
3. Set a timer for 20 minutes.
4. Go. Write down 100 things you want to do. Or careers you want to have. Or people you would like to meet. The sky is the limit.
5. Don’t be realistic. Dream big. Write down the craziest things you can think of, as well as the things that you don't even think bear mentioning because they are so simple. Write it all down.
6. Work quickly. 20 minutes isn't very long, and you have 100 items to get through, if you can. Don't think about whether or not to write down an idea - just write. Write everything that comes to mind, even if it doesn't make sense. Just keep on writing, and don't stop until that timer goes off.
Something happens after about 10 or 15 minutes if you employ the exercise to its full potential. You stop caring about what specifically the ideas are, and you start to release an inner creativity that may have been locked away for a while. In an effort to get through 100 things in 20 minutes, you start to write outlandish things down that you aren't even really sure you want, but that are ideas that came to you nonetheless.
Ding! The timer goes off. No matter where you are in the process, or how many items you have written down, stop. (Okay, if you are really on a roll and have a few more to write down because the juices are flowing, keep going. I won't tell).
Leave the list alone for a day. Try not to look at it, and certainly don't revise it in any way. The following day, sit down and look at your list. How many of the items on it are feasible? Can you see your way to accomplishing any of it? Did anything come out of the list that you hadn't actually really thought of until you wrote it down in a hurried attempt to get to 100 items in the time limit? Any surprises in there?
The point of this exercise is not to create a giant and outlandish "to-do" list that never gets ticked off. Instead, it is simply to open up your mind to the idea that anything is possible, and to give you ideas that will help you to become unstuck in life.
They say this works.. so I am going to try it.. who knows.. : )

The Bathtub Test
During a visit to the mental asylum, I asked the Director how do you
determine whether or not a patient should be institutionalized.
"Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a
teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to
empty the bathtub."
"Oh, I understand," I said..
"A normal person would use the bucket
because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup."
"No." said the Director, "A normal person would pull the plug.
Do you want a bed near the window?"

What the heck is that all about......
Well, its December and I am still waiting..
Where the heck is the SNOW.. I am not impressed. I am so excited to go skiing. I can't wait any
longer. I can't believe the week we are having. It's been so warm. I even wore shorts a couple of days. Ya shorts in December... I am not sure what this world is coming too...
So I am getting really slack on this blogging thing. I think its just that I really don't have anything exciting to say. I used to be able to find a lot of important and entertaining topics to talk about, ways to teach and move you... but now.. I am just not feeling it. I can honestly say that I am drained .. I need something new, I need a new feel for life.. and well I am going to do that.. I am on a quest.. a quest for more, and I am excited. I think there comes a time in life when you need to just take a leap and see where you land.. and thats what I plan to do..
JUMP.....
So here is the thing, the mind set .. that is the thing.. having control of your mind in a way that will make you take that next step.. you can only stand on that cliff for so long.. you either chicken out and turn back.. or you "Cowboy Up" and JUMP...
So that is it...
It's time... I am going to do some things that need to be done..
and I am starting now......
Here we go....
